There are many steps to consider when planning a successful systematic review.  The steps provided in this section should help to guide you as you move forward as well as show you how your assigned librarian can support this endeavor.

Before you begin your systematic review, think about:

  • Is a systematic review really necessary?
  • Has one been done within the last two years? Last five years or longer?
  • Do you have the dedicated time and the resources (includes individuals you want to have on your SR team) to conduct your systematic review?
