In celebration of Black History Month, the ED&I committee is sharing the following announcements, articles, documentaries, book discussion and MSK and BLAM events:

  • We partnered with the library to create this website for the reading list to be shared with the department that includes fiction, non-fiction and academic books, an initiative of Gleneara and Faith, with support from our librarians!
  • Our colleague and visual artist Christopher S. Webster shared documentary films with us by some of his mentors and collaborators:
  • Our colleague and visual artist Billy Rosa shared a project on Black maternal health in collaboration with The Good Listening Project, a group of listener poets. The partners added illustration, animation, and audio to the poems to tell the story of Black women and the unique challenges they face: Health4Equity: RxUCKUS
