Artificial Intelligence

The intersection of AI, healthcare, cancer research, ethics, and publishing

Welcome

Researchers are increasingly turning to computer-based systems to answer medical questions, including those related to diagnosis, treatment responses, genetic screening, and patient monitoring and care. There is also widespread use of AI tools to help keep up with the latest research, and in writing and editing tasks.

This guide aims to bring together resources on artificial intelligence in medicine, including publications by MSK researchers and resources available through the MSK Library. It also includes information on the use of generative AI tools.

MSK Policy

The AI Governance Committee (internal link) at MSK released its "Responsible Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy" in June 2025. Anyone with MSK credentials can access it here.
