The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Justice jointly published a guidance document on “long COVID” as a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.

COVID-19 Real-Time Learning Network (collaboration with CDC and IDSA)

LitCovid is the most comprehensive resource on the subject, providing a central access to nearly 400,000 (and growing) relevant articles in PubMed, including nearly 15,000 articles on Long Covid conditions.

There are 15 dedicated clinics for Long COVID or post-COVID care in the five boroughs, along with many other doctors who specialize in the condition.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) created the RECOVER Initiative to learn about the long-term effects of COVID.
Multiple studies/locations across the US

This CDC study is a longitudinal multicenter, observational cohort of adults with acute COVID-like symptoms who test positive for SARS-CoV-2 and a comparison group of adults with acute COVID-like symptoms who test negative for SARS-CoV-2. Participants are being followed-up every 3 months for a maximum of 18 months. 18-month data will be added when available.
