COVID-19

This guide was created by the MSK Library in support of the medical, research, and patient communities at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).

It began in 2020 as a list of resources for finding and accessing information about COVID-19 and has grown to encompass curated collections across various areas, with sites vetted by a Research Informationist and organized by topic. Care was taken to place sites appropriately, but some in scope span multiple tabs.

This is not a comprehensive list, but a selection of general and cancer-specific COVID-19 resources that we think will be most useful to our oncology community. While the federal government declared an end to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency on May 11, 2023, we continue to provide and update this guide. However, because of this, you may notice some links take you to inactive, archived, or inaccessible resources.

  • Resources for the cancer community, including curated articles on how people are adapting to COVID-19 and information on disruptions to cancer care.

  • Discussion of a report led by researchers at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute explores the impact of COVID-19 on the cancer community, clinical care, and research, including how the two diseases are interconnected.

  • Looks at how cancer services are being impacted as health care shifts to respond to the threat of COVID-19, delaying both diagnoses and treatments.
